The City of Los Alamitos would like to inform its residents, businesses, and community members that due to the memorial and funeral services for Hawthorne Police Officer Andrew Garton, there will be traffic delays and partial road closures at the intersections of: Cerritos Ave. and Bloomfield St.; Cerritos Ave. and Lexington St., Katella Ave. and Lexington St.; and Ball Rd. and Bloomfield St.
These temporary street closures are necessary to accommodate the anticipated lengthy funeral procession and will last approximately 2 hours beginning at 2:00 pm and ending at 4:00 pm. Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes during this time period.
