The West County CERT group has scheduled our spring basic Community Emergency Response Team training for Friday May 21st (6-9 P.M.), Saturday May 22nd (8 A.M to 5 P.M.), Friday June 3rd (6-9 P.M.), and Saturday June 4th (8 A.M. to 5 P.M.). The break in the two weekend blocks of training is due to the Memorial Day Weekend.
The skills taught during the CERT class are some of the skills you may need in the event of a emergency or disaster. Please keep in mind, during a significant event or disaster, first responders may be 3 to 7 days away from reaching you. The ability to be self sufficient may be critical.
