The 4th of July is a time to celebrate the principles upon which our Country is based, and recognize those who have sacrificed to protect those same principles.The Los Alamitos Police Department wishes you a safe and enjoyable long weekend. As a reminder, it is a violation to purchase and use fireworks in the City of Los Alamitos. This includes so-called Safe and Sane fireworks. Los Alamitos Police Officers will be taking appropriate enforcement action.
As an alternative, the City of Los Alamitos and other nearby cities are hosting a fireworks display at the Joint Forces Training Base. For more information visit here.
