Los Alamitos residents are encouraged to take necessary precautions before the arrival of today’s storm. This will be the fourth successive storm affecting Southern California.
The National Weather Service estimates this storm to arrive in Orange County during the early afternoon hours and may be of a longer duration than Wednesday’s storm. Rainfall amounts of one to two inches are predicted for much of the County. This additional precipitation will fall over already saturated ground, bringing the danger of localized flooding. The storm may bring thunderstorms and other types of severe weather.
